Claim	Implication of the claim
Boston schools introduced the Galls-Peter projection map.	The Mercator map, commonly used distorted the reality and did not offer accurate representation of the continents.
A world renowned cartographer named, Gerardus Mercator, produced a map in 1569.	He created it in a way that helped sea travelers navigate across oceans by drawing straight lines as guidance. This exaggerated certain countries, making it look bigger than its original size while on the other hand, made larger countries smaller in visual size. He had also misplaced countries.
Mercator’s map affected continents as well as countries.	South America was roughly about the same size as Europe when in reality it is approximately twice as larger. Furthermore, Greenland looks around the same size as Africa when Africa is 14 times larger.
As a result, the Mercator map exaggerates all sorts of imperialist powers in the past of conquerors. This leads to rewriting history itself of all the fake stories.	This lenient discovery leads to the discussion of the hidden truth in history and the questionable bias it portrays to European conquered countries, portraying its sole achievement on upgrading the Western civilization.

Ethical bias- A questionable strong opinion that often goes against original evidences.

European imperialism- A time frame of colonial expansion by European powers during the 19^th and 20^th centuries.
